On this day: Former Horseman Sting finally gets his hands on Ric Flair at The Great American Bash and catches Flair during a Figure Four attempt with a Small Package to win his first NWA World Heavyweight Championship. (7/7/90)

On this day: Sherri Martel gets taken out by Sting when Ric Flair pulls her into place, allowing the Nature Boy to capitalize on Sting checking on her with a roll-up to unify the WCW & International World Heavyweight Titles before revealing Sherri was in on the plan all along. (6/23/94)

On this day: Sting reaches the finals of a three month, 16-man tournament and defeats Meng at The Great American Bash to win his second United States Heavyweight Championship, his first since 1991. (6/18/95)

On this day: Scott Hall shows reveals his true allegiance when he decks his nWo Wolfpac mate Kevin Nash with one of their Tag Team Title belts, allowing nWo Hollywood member The Giant to fall into a pin and take home the WCW World Tag Team Championship with his friend, WCW’s Sting. (5/17/98)

On this day: Despite suffering a torn ligament in his knee and being pushed off the top rope by jealous, fellow nWo member Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage is dragged onto an unconscious Sting following Kevin Nash’s jackknife powerbomb, giving Savage the victory and his third WCW World Title. (4/19/98)

On this day: Sting and Vader’s 1993 World Title rivalry crosses over into Sting’s International World Title match with Rick Rude, ending when Vader’s manager Harley Race accidentally nails Rude with a steel chair meant for Sting, allowing the Stinger to score the pin and win his first WCW International World Heavyweight Championship. (4/17/94)
